Uzonna V. Olumba, Ph.D. has conducted research in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and now Latin America. Over the last seven years she has supervised faculty student-based consulting projects in various undergraduate and graduate courses. Beyond teaching, Dr. Olumba has been a lobbyist in the State of Illinois, actively engaged in the community while assisting organizations with strategic planning and learning management system design. She is the current Chair of Governance & Past Chair for the Academy of Management-Management Consulting Division (the largest professional association for scholars of management and organizations worldwide) and is currently charged with developing and directing program planning in tandem with overseeing the scientific and administrative functions of the Management Consulting Division.
Her primary area of research and consulting focuses on artificial intelligence, online and blended learning, business strategy, corporate social responsibility, organizational change, diversity and inclusion, climate, and culture. Also, how organizations manage, use, and implement technology to gain competitive advantage.
Dr. Olumba is currently an International Professor at Tec de Monterrey/Egade. Prior, she taught at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is an alumnus of Harvard University’s Project Zero Institute and Think Tank on Global Education, University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, Benedictine University, and the U.S. Senate Fellows Program.
