Our Project

In a world where education evolves at a rapid pace, the design of differentiated teaching and learning experiences cannot fall behind.

Our initiative combines the power of Generative Artificial Intelligence with expertise from our professors to transform, enhance, and optimize the way digital courses are created.

Implementation of GenAI in Course Design

We have developed a skill toolkit (forms) designed based on prompts that are aligned with our current institutional guidelines. This toolkit facilitates course design by assisting faculty in creating key components such as learning activities, teaching strategies, and assessment instruments, among others.

Explore how our Skills work!

Skill "Design assessment instruments"

Skill "Design a learning activity"

Some of the main didactic components our skills assist with are:

  1. Design teaching strategies and techniques
  2. Create a challenge
  3. Present your content
  4. Develop learning modules
  5. Design digital learning experiences
  6. Plan an activity
  7. Create assessment instruments

We invite you to explore how our skills work!

Currently, over 900 professors have used the tool to efficiently structure their teaching plans, personalize materials based on student needs, and create activities aligned with innovative methodologies. This way, technology optimizes teaching work and enhances the quality of learning.

From October to December 2024, the first instructional design period for the 2026 study plans took place. During this process, more than 150 professors and 20 instructional designers used the skill toolkit to design 55 courses.

From the use of the skill toolkit for the instructional design of courses for the 2026 study plans, the following results were observed:

Optimization of the time spent designing learning units.

  • Enrichment and personalization of instructional proposals.
  • Facilitation of compliance with the guidelines established in the instructional design guide.
  • Increased confidence in the use of artificial intelligence.
  • Development of a critical and ethical perspective in AI application.

How have our professors at Tecnológico de Monterrey experienced it?

Professor Mariana Maya from the School of Arquitecture, Art, and Design

Professor Xitlally Rivero from the School of Humanities and Education

Next steps

The next steps are trying out skills that professors have specifically designed for students. The goal is to engage students and support them so that artificial intelligence becomes a useful tool in their learning journey towards their professional development.
